How to edit filtration schedules

Last updated 4 months ago

Overview

The Watercare section in the Gecko App lets you manage your spa’s filtration and heating schedules. Each Watercare mode (like Standard, Weekender, or Away from home) contains customizable filter cycles that define when your spa circulates and cleans the water. You can easily add, edit, or delete a filtration schedule to match your preferences.

How to access your filtration schedules

  1. Open the side menu ☰ and select Settings.

  2. Tap Watercare to see the list of available modes.

  3. Tap the ✏️ (pen) icon next to the mode you want to edit: for example, Standard or Weekender.

  4. Select the Filter Cycle tab.
You’ll now see the current filtration schedule(s) for that mode.

Why filtration schedules matter

Filtration cycles keep your spa water clean by circulating it through the filters and heater.
Scheduling these cycles ensures proper water hygiene, even when you’re not using the spa.

Common questions

  • Can I have more than one filter cycle per day?

    • Yes, you can add multiple cycles in a single Watercare mode to match your spa usage.

  • What happens if I change Watercare modes?

    • Each mode (e.g., Standard or Away from home) has its own filtration schedule. Switching modes automatically applies that mode’s settings.
