Install the in.touch 3 EN (Home) module

Where to place the Home module, how to connect it to your router, and what the light should show.

Overview

The EN (Home) module is the blue box that connects your spa to the internet. It plugs into your router with an Ethernet cable and talks to the CO (Spa) module by radio.

Install the Spa module first: see Install the in.touch 3 CO (Spa) module.

Before you begin

  • The Spa module is installed and the spa is powered on.

  • You have the Ethernet cable and the power supply that came with the Home module.

Step 1: Choose where to put it

The Home module is an indoor device and is not waterproof. Place it:

  • As close to the spa as your setup allows, for example on a windowsill or against the wall nearest the spa.

  • Standing upright.

  • Facing the spa.

It also needs to reach your router with the Ethernet cable. If your router is far from the spa, a longer Ethernet cable or a Wi-Fi extender with a LAN port lets you bring the Home module closer to the spa.

Step 2: Connect it

  1. Plug the Ethernet cable into the Home module and into a free LAN port on your router or extender.

  2. Plug the power supply into the Home module and into a wall outlet.

Step 3: Check the light

On first start, the light can go through several colors. This is normal. Wait for a solid green light: the Home module is connected to your router and ready to be set up in the app.

  • Solid red: the Home module doesn't detect your router. Check the Ethernet cable at both ends, then try another port or another cable.

  • Solid purple: it's connected to your router, but the router has no internet. Check that other devices in your home are online.

For every color, see LED status reference guide – EN (Home) module.

Step 4: Set up your spa in the app

Once the light is solid green, follow Set up your spa in the Gecko App.
