The Energy IQ Score is your spa’s personalized efficiency rating, a smart indicator that helps you understand how efficiently your spa is running and where you can improve. It’s part of the Energy feature available with Gecko Premium, designed to help you relax more while saving on electricity.
How it works
The Energy IQ system continuously analyzes your spa’s behavior and usage patterns, such as heating cycles, filtration, and idle times, to calculate a score that reflects your spa’s overall energy efficiency.
Your score is based on:
Your Smart Spa Routine (when and how often your spa runs)
Your heating and filtration schedules
Your spa’s energy-saving opportunities
The more optimized your spa’s operation, the higher your Energy IQ Score will be.
⚙️ The app collects around 30 days of usage data to provide your first Energy IQ Score. It updates automatically as your habits and settings change.
Understanding your score
Your Energy IQ Score ranges from 0 to 100, and is displayed on a simple gauge:
Score Range | Level | Meaning |
0 – 25 | Low | Your spa runs at full power all the time. Try setting up a Smart Spa Routine to reduce consumption. |
26 – 70 | Basic | You’ve started optimizing your spa, great progress! Small adjustments can boost your efficiency further. |
71 – 100 | Optimal | Excellent efficiency! Your spa is using energy smartly while maintaining your comfort. |
