What the wave colors mean in the Gecko App

Overview

At the top of your Gecko App dashboard, you’ll see a wave animation that changes color depending on your spa’s connection status and water condition. The wave gives you a quick, visual indication of your spa’s overall health and whether any action is needed.

Wave color meanings

Wave Color	Meaning	What It Indicates / What to Do
Gray	Disconnected state	The app cannot connect to your spa. There may be a network or module communication issue.
Blue	Water is good	Everything is running normally, and your water quality is balanced. ✅ No immediate action needed.
Orange	Action recommended	Some maintenance actions are needed soon. 👉 Check the Actions list on the dashboard for suggested tasks.
Red	Urgent action required	There’s an issue with your water that needs immediate attention. ⚠️ Check the Actions list on the dashboard to see what must be done to correct the problem.

A gray wave doesn’t mean there’s a spa issue, it only means the app is temporarily disconnected from your spa.
