How to enter your electricity cost and change currency

Overview

You can customize your energy settings in the Gecko app to get more relevant savings estimates. By entering your price per kWh and selecting your currency, the app can better reflect your energy usage in your local context.

Update your energy preferences

  1. Open the Gecko app.

  2. Go to the Energy section.

  3. Tap Preferences.

Enter your energy cost

  1. In the Price per kW/h field, enter your electricity rate.

  2. Make sure the value matches what you pay per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

Change your currency

  1. Tap Currency.

  2. Select your preferred currency from the list.

Save your changes

Tap Save to apply your settings.
