How to add or replace a Gecko Waterlab probe

Overview
If you’ve received a new Gecko Waterlab probe or need to replace an existing one, you can easily do it through the Gecko App. The app will guide you step-by-step through the setup process to connect and calibrate your new probe.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Gecko App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.Tap the Menu icon (☰)
Located in the top-left corner of the screen.Go to Settings → Devices
From the list, select Settings, then tap Devices.Scroll to the Gecko Waterlab section
Find the card labeled Gecko Waterlab.
This section shows your Waterlab’s firmware version, serial number, and probe details.Tap “Replace Probe”
Tap the Replace Probe option to start the guided setup.
The app will open the Add a Probe screen.Follow the on-screen instructions
Tap LET’S START and follow each step displayed in the app.
The setup process will walk you through:Safely removing the old probe (if replacing one).
Connecting and installing the new probe.
Waiting for the app to detect and link the new probe.
💡 Tip: Make sure your new probe is connected securely to the in.touch 3+ CO module and is submerged in water when prompted.
Finish setup
Once the app confirms successful detection, the new probe’s serial number will appear in the Waterlab section under Probe.
Tips & related info
Always handle the probe carefully, avoid exposing it to air for extended periods.
Keep the probe submerged in water or stored properly when not in use.
Replacing a probe will automatically remove any readings linked to your previous probe.
You can reboot your Waterlab from the same screen if the app doesn’t detect the new probe immediately.
