Where to find your Gecko Waterlab firmware version and serial number

Overview
Your Gecko Waterlab system includes a smart probe that measures water quality in real time.
Each Waterlab unit and probe has its own firmware version, serial number, and part number, which help identify your hardware and ensure proper support or maintenance. You can find this information directly in the Gecko App.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Gecko App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.Tap the Menu icon (☰)
Located in the top-left corner of the screen.Go to Settings → Devices
From the list, select Settings, then tap Devices.Scroll to the “Gecko Waterlab” section
Under Devices, you’ll find a section labeled Gecko Waterlab.
This displays key details about your Waterlab hardware.
Information shown
In this section, you’ll find:
Firmware Version – The version of software running on your Waterlab.
Serial Number – A unique identifier for your Waterlab unit (used for technical support).
Part Number – Identifies your Waterlab model.
Hardware Revision – Indicates hardware generation or version.
Probe Serial Number – The unique identifier for your Waterlab probe.

Keep a record of your serial numbers, they’re required when replacing probes or contacting Gecko Support.
Firmware updates for the Waterlab are installed automatically when the device is connected to the internet.
