How to edit economy schedules

Overview

The Economy schedule in the Gecko App lets you decide when your spa can heat. By setting up an economy schedule, you control which times of day the heater is allowed to run. Each Watercare mode (like Standard, Weekender, or Away from home) has its own economy schedule that you can edit or customize.

How to access your economy schedule

  1. Open the side menu ☰ and select Settings.

  2. Tap Watercare to view the list of modes.

  3. Tap the ✏️ (pen) icon next to the mode you want to edit — for example, Standard or Daily Saver.

  4. Select the Economy tab.
    You’ll now see the current heating schedule(s) for that Watercare mode.

How to edit or manage schedules

Add a new schedule

  1. Tap ADD +.

  2. Set your preferences:

    • Repeat: Choose when the schedule repeats (e.g., Everyday or Weekdays).

    • Start time: Select when the economy period begins.

    • Duration: Choose how long the economy mode stays active.

  3. Tap SAVE to confirm your new schedule.

💡 Tip: During the scheduled economy period, the heater will only run if the spa is actively in use.

Edit an existing schedule

  1. Tap the ✏️ (pen) icon beside the schedule you want to change.

  2. Adjust the repeat, start time, or duration.

  3. Tap SAVE to apply your updates.

Delete a schedule

  1. Tap the 🗑️ (trash) icon next to the schedule you want to remove.

  2. Confirm when prompted.

⚙️ Removing a schedule means the heater can run anytime, unless restricted by another Watercare setting.

Common questions

Can I have multiple economy periods per day?
Yes. You can create more than one schedule.

What happens outside economy periods?
The heater will maintain the set temperature during normal operation.
