Where to view the RF signal strength of your in.touch 3
Last updated 4 months ago
Overview
Your in.touch 3 system uses a radio frequency (RF) connection between the EN (Home) and CO (Spa) modules. You can check the RF signal strength directly in the Gecko App to see how strong the connection is. This helps diagnose communication issues or confirm that your modules are properly paired and within range.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Gecko App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.Tap the Menu icon (☰)
Located in the top-left corner of the screen.Go to Settings → Devices
From the menu, select Settings, then tap Devices.Locate the in.touch 3 section
Scroll until you see the card labeled in.touch 3.
This section lists both modules:in.touch 3 (EN) – Home module connected to your router
in.touch 3 (CO) – Spa module connected to your spa pack
Check the RF Strength value
At the top of the in.touch 3 card, you’ll see:RF Strength – Displays your signal quality (e.g., Excellent, Good, or Weak).
A signal bar icon that visually represents connection strength.
How to interpret RF strength
Signal Status | Meaning | What to Do |
Excellent | Strong and stable RF link between modules. | No action needed. |
Good | Normal operation, but could be affected by distance or minor interference. | Monitor or adjust placement if occasional dropouts occur. |
Weak | Low or unstable signal; modules may lose connection. | Check placement or change the RF channel. |
No Signal / — | Modules are not communicating. | Reboot or re-pair your modules. |
Tips & related info
The RF Strength is updated automatically and reflects the live connection between the EN and CO modules.
If you see Weak or No Signal, try moving your EN (Home) module closer to your spa or away from Wi-Fi routers and metal objects.
You can also improve stability by changing the RF channel or rebooting the modules.
