Pump or Waterfall Status Indicators

What the pump and waterfall icons, and the F, H and CF letters, mean in the Gecko App.

The pump and waterfall icons in the control bar at the bottom of the Gecko App show what each one is doing right now. These are indicators, not errors.

Icon colors

What you see

What it means

Blue icon

The pump or waterfall is running.

Rotating icon

The pump is running.

Gray icon

The pump or waterfall is off.

Letters next to a pump

A letter next to the rotating pump icon tells you why the pump is running:

F

A filtration cycle is running.

H

The spa is heating.

CF

Check Flow: the spa makes sure water is moving before the heater turns on. Seeing CF for a moment right before heating is normal.

Why can't I turn the pump off?

A pump that is running for heating or filtration runs automatically and stops once the cycle is done. When the spa is heating, the heater pump can't be turned off from the app.
