After a factory reset: in.touch 3 Home won’t connect to the app
Last updated 2 months ago
Overview
If you performed a factory reset on your in.touch 3 Home module, it will no longer be linked to your previous setup. To reconnect it, you’ll need to set it up again in the Gecko app just like a new spa. Follow the steps below to restore communication.
How to reconnect after a factory reset
Open the Gecko app on your smartphone.
Start the setup process as if you were adding a new spa.
Your in.touch 3 Home should appear in the list of available modules.
Make sure the module has a green LED light, indicating it's ready to be connected to the app.
Follow the connection steps in the app to complete the setup.
💡 Tip: Make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want your in.touch 3 Home to use during setup.
If your in.touch 3 Home doesn’t appear
Sometimes, after a factory reset, the module may not show up immediately or may display an account-related error.
You might see:
No device detected in the setup list
“This device belongs to another account” or a similar message
⚠️ Notice: If your in.touch 3 Home does not appear or shows an ownership error, contact our Support team for assistance. We may need to release the module from its previous account before you can pair it again.
