Using the History page
Last updated 4 months ago
Overview
The History page lets you view charts of your spa’s key measurements over time.
It helps you monitor changes in water temperature, and if you have a Gecko Waterlab, you’ll also see detailed history for pH and ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) levels.
By tracking these trends, you can better understand your spa’s performance and water balance.
How to access the History page
Open the Gecko App.
From your spa’s main dashboard, tap the History button.
The app will display time-based charts for your available data.
What you can view in History
Water Temperature (All users)
All Gecko App users can view a temperature history graph, showing how the water temperature has changed over time. This helps you confirm heating cycles, energy usage patterns, and temperature stability.
pH and ORP (Waterlab users only)
If your spa is equipped with a Gecko Waterlab, you’ll also see historical charts for:
pH: Measures the acidity or alkalinity of your spa water.
ORP (mV): Reflects sanitizer effectiveness and oxidation activity.
These measurements are recorded automatically by the Waterlab probe and updated regularly in the app.
Adjusting the time range
At the top of the page, you can change how much history you want to view:
Day – View the last 24 hours
Week – See a full week of trends
Month / 3 Month / Year – Explore long-term patterns and seasonal changes
Use these filters to quickly analyze how your spa conditions evolve over time.
Tips & related info
If you don’t see any pH or ORP data, make sure your Gecko Waterlab is properly installed and linked to your spa.
Historical data can help you detect patterns — like recurring pH drops or heating inefficiencies, before they cause issues.
