How to manage your Gecko Premium subscription

Overview

Once you’ve subscribed to Gecko Premium, you can easily manage your subscription directly from the Gecko App. This includes checking your plan details, updating your payment method, or cancelling your subscription. All subscription management is handled securely through Stripe, the trusted payment provider used by Gecko.


Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Gecko App
    Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.

  2. Tap the Menu icon (☰)
    Located in the top-left corner of the screen.

  3. Go to Settings → General
    From the list, tap Settings, then open the General section.
    You’ll see your spa information and your current subscription details.

  4. Find the Subscription section
    The Subscription card displays:

    • Your current plan (Free or Premium)

    • Subscription status (Active, Cancelled, or Trialing)

    • Renewal or end date

  5. Tap the Manage button
    Tap MANAGE to open your Stripe dashboard, where you can:

    • Update your payment information

    • Renew or cancel your subscription

    • View your billing history and receipts

    💡 Changes made through Stripe are applied automatically to your account in the Gecko App.

  6. Return to the app
    After managing your plan in Stripe, return to the Gecko App.
    Your subscription status will update automatically after a short delay.


What happens when you cancel your subscription

  • You’ll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • Once it ends, your account will revert to the Free plan.

  • You’ll still have access to essential spa controls such as temperature, pumps, and lights.

  • If your subscription status doesn’t refresh automatically, close and reopen the app.

  • You can verify your plan anytime under Settings → General → Subscription.

  • Payments are managed securely by Stripe, ensuring your data and transactions are protected.
