How to reboot your Gecko Waterlab from the app

Overview
If your Gecko Waterlab isn’t responding or showing updated readings, you can reboot it directly from the Gecko App. Rebooting restarts the Waterlab’s internal system and can help fix minor communication or sensor issues, no need to disconnect any cables.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Gecko App
Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet.Tap the Menu icon (☰)
Located in the top-left corner of the screen.Go to Settings → Devices
From the list, select Settings, then tap Devices.Scroll to the Gecko Waterlab section
Find the card labeled Gecko Waterlab, which shows your unit’s firmware version, serial number, and probe details.Tap “Reboot”
Under the Gecko Waterlab section, tap Reboot to restart the device.Wait for the reboot to complete
The Waterlab will disconnect briefly while restarting.
The LED indicator on the Waterlab will go through a short startup sequence.
Once the reboot is complete, the app will reconnect automatically and display updated data.
Tips & related info
Rebooting is safe, it does not erase your data or water readings.
If you’re still not seeing updates after rebooting, ensure the Waterlab is connected and submerged correctly.
Make sure your in.touch 3+ connection is active, as the Waterlab depends on it for communication.
