My spa is connected but not communicating with the app
Last updated 2 months ago
Overview
If your spa appears connected but the Gecko app isn’t receiving updates or commands, the issue is usually related to your network, your in.touch 3 Home module, or the communication link between the Home and Spa modules. Follow the checks below to help restore communication.
Verification to perform
1. Verify your network connection
Make sure your in.touch 3 Home module is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Ensure your phone and in.touch Home module are on the same network during troubleshooting.
Confirm that your Internet connection is working properly.
💡 Tip: If other smart devices in your home aren’t responding, your router or Internet connection may be the issue.
2. Verify the connection between the in.touch Home module and the spa
Ensure the in.touch Home module is properly connected to the in.touch Spa module (controller).
If possible, reposition the Home module to improve the RF signal between Home and Spa.
⚠️ Notice: Thick walls, metal surfaces, or long distances can weaken the communication link.
3. Restart your in.touch system
Turn off your spa at the main power source.
Wait 30 seconds.
Turn the spa back on.
Allow a few minutes for the system to fully restart and reestablish communication.
If the problem persists
If your spa is still not communicating after these checks, our support team can help diagnose the issue.
